Two intense days, packed halls, and boundless enthusiasm for football. The ELITE Soccer Academy's 2025 winter football camps offered young talents the perfect blend of professional training, fun, and camaraderie. As the year drew to a close, it became clear once again how much development is possible in a short time when quality, passion, and structure come together.
The ELITE Soccer Academy's 2025 winter football camps were a resounding success and the perfect way to end the sporting year. We welcomed motivated young players aged 8 to 14 to intensive, yet always age-appropriate, sessions. Together with strong partners, highly qualified coaches, and the tremendous commitment of everyone involved, we created two days full of learning, team spirit, and unforgettable moments. A key component of the camps was once again the close collaboration with the goalkeeping.com Academy . This partnership allowed us to offer goalkeeper training at the highest level while simultaneously providing outfield players with valuable, game-like experience.

Football training in the most modern indoor soccer halls
Nearly 20 children trained for two days in the indoor area of the Vinea Resort Ritzing under the guidance of Olegs Matvejevs . The UEFA A-licensed coach and former Arsenal Academy coach emphasized clean technique, bold decisions, and open communication with the children. Goalkeeper training was led by Ivan Benko , the Lok Zagreb Academy coach who brought modern training methods and high intensity to each session. The constant interaction between outfield players and goalkeepers proved particularly valuable.
A particular highlight was our first appearance at the Kick it Soccer Hall in Leipzig . Walid Malkawi and Karsten Schröder worked with the participants with great passion and a clear structure. The goalkeeper training took place in cooperation with the Leipzig Goalkeeper School and seamlessly integrated into the overall concept. Quality and individual development were also the focus at the Strausberg Sports Park . The manageable group sizes allowed for intensive coaching and plenty of ball work for each child.

Compact training focus areas
The training focused on clean passing technique and secure ball control, which form the basis for every successful game. In addition, intensive work was done on feints, body feints, and confidently handling one-on-one situations. Another key focus was creating and converting scoring opportunities, both from open play and after passes or dribbles.
Regular communication with the goalkeepers allowed them to be actively integrated into team training sessions. Numerous one-on-one situations with shots on goal not only provided realistic game scenarios but also proved to be extremely valuable training for our strikers.

More than just a camp
The 2025 winter football camps once again demonstrated what the ELITE Soccer Academy stands for: quality, individual development, and genuine passion for football. The best photos and shared moments – from focused training sessions to proud faces at the certificate presentation – will stay with us for a long time.
We would like to thank all the children, parents, coaches, and partners and are already looking forward to the next camps. ⚽ You can also find the best videos from the winter camps on Instagram or TikTok !
