Your packing list for football camp

The anticipation for the next football camp is growing – and with it, the question: What should we pack? To ensure the players can fully concentrate on football during the camp week, it's worth preparing the equipment in advance. Good planning not only ensures a smooth process but also helps to get the most out of every training day.




Equipment

For a successful football camp, we recommend bringing enough training clothes for several days. Especially important are football boots for grass or artificial turf, suitable football socks, a training shirt and shorts, spare clothes for changeable weather (especially a rain jacket or training jacket), a water bottle , and sunscreen .

Anyone who trains regularly knows: nothing is more unpleasant than wet clothes or forgotten equipment.

 

Clothing

The weather can vary greatly during a camp week. Therefore, we recommend dressing in layers . In addition to light workout clothes, you should also pack warmer clothing for cooler mornings or rainy weather. A hat is also essential on hot summer days.

 

Nutrition

Intensive training sessions require the right energy supply. That's why we place great emphasis on balanced and child-friendly meals at our camps. A healthy lunch is, of course, provided during camp. Together with our new partner, Gourmet Kids, we offer participants freshly prepared, balanced meals daily, perfectly tailored to the needs of young athletes. In addition , fruit and granola bars are available throughout the entire camp week so that the players can refuel between training sessions.

We also recommend drinking plenty of water and eating a balanced breakfast before training. Optimal nutrition plays a crucial role in maintaining performance over several training days and supporting recovery.

 

Regeneration

Training and recovery go hand in hand. Sufficient sleep is particularly important during a football camp so that the body can optimally process the training stimuli.

We therefore also recommend stretching exercises after training, adequate hydration, relaxing leisure activities after camp, and sufficient sleep. Those who recover well can attack the next training day with full energy!
